Navajo jewelry artisan, Rethema Tsosie, still resides on the Navajo reservation at the Arizona/New Mexico border. She continues to create contemporary southwestern jewelry in the traditional styles that have been passed down to her through generations. This hand-crafted creation is a lovely multi-strand necklace of mother of pearl heishi interspersed with pops of turquoise, lapis and orange spiny oyster. It finishes with a traditional cord wrap.
