Belt, A Vintage, Concho, 1st Phase Revival, Kirk Smith Hallmark, Worn by Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie, Rock Music Awards, 1976, 644
ROCK ON!
Anyone savvy about Southwestern style knows that a Kirk Smith creation is collectible on its own merit, but this stunning vintage Kirk Smith concho belt holds a lot of history, as it was worn by Fleetwood Max’s Christine McVie at the Second Annual Rock Music Awards. The belt is composed of sterling silver scalloped concho disks, the backs of each are fitted with brackets through which is threaded a thin black leather belt perforated with one hole. The buckle is a complemented scalloped design embellished with repousse detail. Shiny, chic, and timeless – this is a really incredible First Phase find with a whole lot of history.
